A bursary for aspiring legal professionals with local ambitions
GILA is proud to support Guernsey residents working towards a legal career. Our annual bursary is open to those studying the LLB, GDL, LPC, SQE or BPTC, as well as individuals pursuing part-time legal qualifications such as CILEx. Applicants should intend to return to Guernsey to practise law.
The bursary includes a £1,000 award, complimentary GILA membership, and access to career mentoring for the duration of the bursary year.
The deadline for applications is 31st July 2026.
